MONDAY:

RALPHIE CHOO (6:30PM) <18+> Madrid in the house here!!! Show is sold out, one show evening, hot vibe. We got Sofia (aLex vs aLex) shout out to Baby's fam. If it's anything like THIS we're going to have a special one on our hands, everyone. - Greg

Ralphie Choo NY debut lands at Baby's! Our first Rosalia feature artist in a hawwwwwwt minute. This one's going hard, one show evening for a reason. Catch Alex v Alex on support, love this song - Alex

Very cool and interesting artist from Spain. He seems to be besties with Rosalia.. The show is very sold out. I like this performance and the gun signs he makes. I have a feeling this will be a very fun show to be at! - Carson

MAaaaasive show via España to open up the week. He’s only doing two shows, one here and one in LA, so it’s not a 0% chance Rosalia shows up…. - Caroline

TUESDAY:

ZACH TEMPLAR (6:30PM) <AA+> Although it simply does give TikTok (creator) the music is actually working for me. This is a rare case of the two truly meeting. Almost feels like Mk.Gee or something but younger (possible?) Expecting the kids to come out for this one. - Greg

Croons like crazy, 'fans also like' d4vd, Steve Lacy & Strawberry Guy. And so do we! - Alex

Sounds to me like the evolution of Mac DeMarco music, made by and for people 10 years younger than me. Seems like ur last chance to buy tickets to this one is right now, actually! - Carson

Easy listening, bedroom-y, even a little jazzy. I can picture this big one coming on in a Starbucks in an airport and it making me smile a little bit. - Caroline

HAILEY KNOX (9:30PM) <18+> When you google "Hailey Knox" there's a little descriptor under her name that simply reads "Internet celebrity" and isn't that about as much information as anyone could ever hope for? Almost kind of same vibe as ZT before, which is so cool, it's almost like someone knows what they're curating for an evening... who would have thought!!!! Lovely little evening <3 - Greg

WEDNESDAY:

WISHY (6:30PM) <18+> Oh it's Kevin Krauter!!! Indianapolis legends hitting the stage they sold it out because duh when there's a legend, there is a legend!!! - Greg

Loooove Wishy. Syrupy goodness, pure power pop. Baby's will be rocking. Sellout. - Alex

Yeah dawg I love this band. It feels like there's a bit of a lowkey power pop revival happening right now, and these guys are some of the best doing it. Lots of 90s sounds happening. Prize Horse and Plastic open and I'm very upset that I will not be able to attend this event :-( - Carson

I loooove this band. First caught on at SXSW this past year—Alex, Jesse and I looked at each other like “holy shit, are you seeing this?” This record is just FUN, this show is sure to brighten up a gloomy chilly evening. - Caroline

JARON MARSHALL (9:30PM) <18+> TALENT is a word that came up immediately for me. This is such good music - jazzy/hot/sexy. Love this, can't wait <3 - Greg

JaRon JaRon, these beats are divine. Member of The Black Pumas, with grooves that'll help you forget it's cold/only Wednesday/you're one day closer to having to pay rent. This one, this one, and this new one. He had Winter Jazz eating out of the palm of his hand. Come see him doitagainnnn - Alex

One of the Black Pumas! He makes very good, forward-thinking, cinematic jazz. This is music that belongs on my turntable, this song especially. Vibes will be nice at this show :-) - Carson

THURSDAY:

HEMLOCK ERNST (9:30PM) <21+> Sometimes you looks something up and you're like "oh okay" and this is one of those times. All i'll say is that I was once backstage at a festival in like 2016 with a bunch of friends and this guy was sitting back there with us and the whole time I kept thinking "it's so crazy that Dave Matthews is hanging out with us back here in this horrid little room" and when I said that an hour or two later (after leaving, don't worry) everyone said it was actually the singer from Future Islands, and then I was like "so much cooler wow" This performance was legendary for a big reason and lives in my head forever, this is obviously someone who is doing exactly what they were meant to do in this life. This project seems to be a rap-based performance which is... very fucking interesting to me actually. - Greg

The hip hop project from Samuel T Herring of Future Islands. Unsurprisingly, especially given his ties to the Backwoodz world, it slaps. Big production, new record features from some true legends like Egyptian Lover, E L U C I D & Fatboi Sharif. Sleeper hit of the week. - Alex

Many might not know this, but Samuel T Herring from Future Islands has been rapping for a very long time - and he's pretty well respected in the art rap circles... Deservedly so! If you're messin' with Armand Hammer these days, or were tapped into Milo and Jonwayne when those projects were super active, then this one's for you. Or if you just like Future Islands a lot and wanna see that guy rap, then this is definitely your night! - Carson

FRIDAY:

SUN JUNE (7PM) <21+> This is so nice, so "warm", cute, lovely vibe, good music, nice textures, good refrain!! Lots of commas. The rest is left unwritten - Greg

This song'll rip your heart out and give it to your neighbor as a trinket for their mantlepiece. New songs are wonderful, including a wild lil' Porches remix in there. - Alex

I was really, really sad for a while and listened to Sun June a lot during that period of time. This one especially banged a lot back then. Can't wait to see them IRL (finally) and tap into their latest v soon! Also, Dan Wriggins (from Friendship) is opening and I love that dude's music so, so much.. - Carson

HAYDEN PEDIGO (7PM) <18+> God I wish I could play guitar like this. Magnetic fucking energy. You know this one will feel so good, especially with our angel Marem Ladson (from GALICIA, which is relevant for the next show). Precious beautiful songwriting, sweet show we're so lucky to have in our space <3 - Greg

I love all the new American primitive guitar stuff that's been happening recently. Hayden is definitely one of the coolest projects in that world! It's beautiful music! He's goated, musically, but also is a Gucci model, and ran for City Council in his hometown of Amarillo, TX at just 24 yrs old, which drew a lot of attention, and wound up centering him as the subject of a documentary that I've been meaning to watch for a very long time. Writing a reminder to myself now to watch that. - Carson

Alex put the live record on the other day and just walked away, which says it all. This guy is a mega talented songwriter and performer, this one is gonna knock your boots off. - Caroline

BALKANS (11PM) <21+> 3rd installment of our SON ESTRELLA GALICIA series (love these fools) free show with the door blown off. Absolute inspirations BALKANS + Rock Gods TVOD DJ'd by EVE ALPERT. I can't imagine ever missing this one, if you do you are a fool. - Greg

Last Balkans show at Baby's rocked me to the core. A band who hadn't released music for ten years, with a crowd absolutely losing their minds singing along to every word. I was uninitiated, fully on board now. Another FREE Estrella banger. - Alex

I somehow completely missed this project when they popped off in the 2010s! Really good surfy, garage rock-y, post-punk-y stuff right here. I imagine the crowd will be going cuckoo bananas! - Carson

I have yet to see an Estrella event that didn’t bring the house DOWN, so get in early or forever be sorry you didn’t.... - Caroline

SUNDAY:

CAROL ADES (6:30PM) <AA+> Hyper pop feeling but more in a produced way, much chiller vibe than that. SOLD OUT one show eve <3 - Greg
