TUESDAY:

MAT KEREKES: (7PM) <18+> On track to sell out by the end of the day, Citizen front-man Mat Kerekes is a true midwest emo icon. Newest record goes in a bunch of different directions, all of which landing hard for me. We may open up some last min extra tix, so as always keep an eye out! - Alex

An indie rock singer-songwriter known for his soaring melodies and deeply personal lyrics, it should be a special night. - Manny

I'm an unapologetic emo music enjoyer, and have been this way for 20 years. Citizen is one of those bands that's never missed for me. Criminally underrated and ever-forward thinking imho. I'm excited to see Mat's solo thing. The songs are amazing.- Carson

Fk yea basically, beautiful textbook emo howling voice over a dynamic range of different styles of tunes, there’s something so gripping happening here. Plus, an especially special DJ set from two people I love but you have to come and find out who… - Caroline

THIS IS LORELEI (7PM) <18+> Sit down with me long enough (horrifying) and you'll eventually hear me rabbiting on about this album. Nate's a phenomenal writer. Deeply excited for this one. - Alex

If you hear this music you will love this music. Truly though, every music person I talk to has raved about Nate's last record, and for good reason. It's fucking incredible. I've also been on a big Youbet kick recently. These are two of Brooklyn's finest indie rock music projects under one roof! - Carson

The first time I heard this record, I laid in silence on my bed for a long while after it finished. Another time, I sat in the backseat of Ella’s car while Anj drove us home from a day of hiking upstate, and I achieved a meditative state while wrapped up in Nate’s dancey, earnest, truly singular songs. Undoubtedly one of my top 3 records from the last year. It’s truly a pleasure to host this show <3 - Caroline

FRIDAY:

RENNY CONTI (7:00PM) <21+> Renny's been one of my favorite NYC artists for 4 years now. This is his best album. So fired up to know that we're hosting his first ever NY headline! Edging towards a sellout. - Alex

Last time I saw Renny play at Baby's I was blown away. So blessed we get to have him back for a headlining set with Blue Ranger and Hemlock. Real heads only. - Manny

Local sweet boy that smoked me in beer pong the night we met just released a perfect album and is celebrating it's release on this night at Baby's All Right. I think we all love Renny over here, and I think we all think this album is going to put him on a lot of maps. - Carson

Hallelujah. Renny’s new record is just perfect, of the moment folk music. That’s not even the right word for it. It’s folk because it’s hearty, it’s guitar-driven, but it’s so much bigger than that. Renny’s vocals come from deep in his chest, convincing you of every word he sings, which are mostly about animals and love and the earth. No matter how cold out it is on Friday night, it will be warm inside Baby’s thanks to Renny. - Caroline

NICO PLAY (7PM) <21+> Nico is a glorious songwriter, this one feels right. So many homies selling the Baby out this week! - Alex

Nico Play seamlessly blends boleros and electro-pop, effortlessly switching between Spanish and English in his lyrics. His emotive vocals and rhythmic guitar work create a captivating fusion of cultures, offering a dynamic performance that creates a sense of intimacy. Very beautiful music played on an acoustic guitar and sung in Spanish. It's going to sell out. This is a really good show to bring your sweetie to <3 - Carson

BREAKING BREAD (6:30PM) <18+> Travis has outdone himself here, some big hitters all lined up for a swing. - Alex
