Absurdly quick sellout, one of the underplays of the year. Can't help but get excited about a big ol' Aussie moment.. - Alex

One of the best bands from Australia kicking off the week with a sold out show at BBs. - Manny

Stadium-ready indie rock from Australia. Deeply sold out. It seems that people are begging to get let in. The GIFT people are DJing. It's gonna be good. - Carson

Norwegian indie rock with no regard for rules or boundaries. They're fun :-) It's getting close to sold out so if you want to go you should probably just buy a ticket now rather than wait. - Carson

WEDNESDAY:

HIGH. RECORD RELEASE SHOW WITH ASI KEMERA (9:30PM) <21+>
Shredders. Loud and crazy and no doubt a party. Don't be fooled by a Wednesday, this'll feel like a weekend. - Alex

NJ shoegaze legends releasing a new record with a special set from Asi Kemera. - Manny

Stereogum's most recent 'Band To Watch'. They make epic shoegaze. Asi Kemera opens the show and that's a really cool fit. She makes shoegaze of the dream pop variety. It's lit. - Carson

Psychy hazy shoegazey, finally headlining the baby. This’ll be a friend fest, come thru. - Caroline

THURSDAY:

Wilson was blowing me up about Jessica for a good few months, always gonna listen. - Alex

Jessica Lea Mayfield captivates with her haunting voice and deeply introspective indie-folk songs.Our very own BB fam Margaux is also opening this one up so get there early! - Manny

Lovely Americana-leaning indie music. - Carson

This one is heavier than I expected! She’s got range. Margaux’s record kept me company for a good few weeks when it first came out. Good bill! - Caroline

Fun indie-punk from LA. The show also has Venus Twins, ONE, and Cash Only Tony's playing. I always like seeing the Venus Twins out and about. I especially liked seeing them on the Mr. Beast show. ONE is a really fun band to see live. I think this is gonna be a show that's FUN in ALL CAPS. - Carson

FRIDAY:

Great Grandpa brings emotionally resonant lyrics and dynamic instrumentation for a heartfelt performance. - Manny

I remember seeing this band a handful of times when I lived in Portland and worked at Mississippi Studios. They make really emotional, anthemic music. It really connected with me back then, and I'm glad to see their renaissance. This show has been sold out for a long time. - Carson

LATE: MS PAINT + DAZY (11:00PM) <21+>
Another of the Estrella Galicia series, another fierce late night lineup. MSPAINT I've never caught live, stoked for this. Dazy I saw at Alphaville, and were so good. Excited to see ami's baby debut too! - Alex

MS Paint’s post-punk intensity meets Dazy’s power-pop brilliance for an exhilarating late-night set. - Manny

I love both of these bands. It's really cool that we get to see them on the same night for free. MSPAINT make really forward-thinking, paranoid, hardcore-adjacent music. DAZY makes really fantastic power pop that hardcore guys mess with. That dude also probably used to play in hardcore bands if I had to guess. This is a perfect night for the rock enjoyers! - Carson

I can’t believe this is real. MSPAINT absolutely RIPS and I was so bummed I missed their last NYC play, but god bless the Estrella fam for bringing them right home. This is going to be a hugggggge night. - Caroline

Recess combines youthful energy with catchy indie rock hooks, making for an infectious and lively show. - Manny

SCHOOL OF SONG: WINTER GATHERING (6:00PM) <18+>
Second year of this. Just like Manny said - inspiring and emotional and so exciting. Brian Eno.... surely not? Maybe? - Alex

An inspiring evening of performances featuring talented artists from the School of Song, showcasing warmth and community through music. - Manny

School of song is a songwriting workshop that is taught by everyone in the indie music world that you admire. Adrianne Lenker has taught a course. So has Robin Pecknold from Fleet Foxes. Brian Eno just finished teaching one a few days ago. Real legends, as they say. For this show you can see Emily Sprague (Florist). Obviously this is going to be great and there will be really cool people and students of music in the crowd. - Carson

Beautiful showcase from the School of Song, this session was taught by Brian Eno. I’ told that Tom Moore’s spotify most played is still Music For Airports from it’s loop in the hallway at The Dance. - Caroline
