MONDAY:

FIRST UMPIRE (6:30PM) <18+> Okay yeah, it's giving smooth goth 80's, and a bit of Nation of Language to me (who wouldn't love that!!). Should be a cute Monday eve with Apollo and Kid At The Corner. - Greg

With just two songs to their name, First Umpire had me hooked. Driving beat post punk. Good. - Alex

TUESDAY:

NEVA DINOVA (6:30PM) <18+> COOL Classic Omaha 90's band that just came out with some new music on Saddle Creek. I love this song I am listening to it right now as I write all this down. They have good taste too because Nara's Room is supporting and that's one of my favorite bands to watch in NY right now... A show we simply cannot be missing my dears. - Greg

Easygoing, cool as a cucumber music. Tied in w Bright Eyes and Cursive. - Caroline

Neva Dinova are releasing their first record on Saddle Creek in over ten years, and are hitting baby's to celebrate. This is my favorite of the new singles, the baritone vocals on the washed out backdrop gives almost a Jesus & Mary Chain vibe. Tix are moving, support from nara's room, a band I am always excited to catch live. - Alex

BEAU (9:30PM) <21+> They've been rocking forever, sweet kind rock and rollers from the city are having a party at Baby's with Blums (yay) and Matilda Marigold! - Greg

First saw these rockers in 2021? Or 2022? At the old Knitting Factory in Williamsburg. Absolutlely enraptured. Sexy, chic, rocking. Dearest Kelsea (Blums) on the bill. - Caroline

WEDNESDAY:

EVENING ELEPHANTS (6:30PM) <18+> Tapped the fuck in on social media, these alternative indie pop rockers will have a time at bb. Wilmah and Middle Part (Boy Room says just about all there is to say) to join them. - Greg

Been having quite the phone calls with Seth from E.E. this week. God bless him, god bless the music. - Caroline

JORDAN ADETUNJI (6:30PM) <AA+> MFM IS BRINGING US ANOTHER LITERAL POP STAR. Last week it was Tommy Richman and this time it's Jordan... Fuck this one is going to be psychotic and so special. - Greg

MFM is crazy with it lately. Earnest moment to say I’m very grateful to get to be connected with them, they bring such incredible shows to BB. This one’s no exception. - Caroline

Expecting another blowout free show, continuing our September trends. Wrote an ode to Kehlani, and it went so hard that Kehlani came through for the remix. - Alex

HOTEL FICTION (9:30PM) <18+> I was so sure this would be LA but it's Athen's, Georgia!! Kind of reminds me of their version of Beau (see above) nice music. - Greg

Strawberry Launch on the bill. Gonna be a night to remember for fans of dazzling, bubbly indie rock music let me tell you. - Caroline

LAILA (7PM) <AA+> That's not my problem! Another smash hit from MFM, did you know that mango juice is not guava juice? - Greg

TASHA (7PM) <18+> A Chicago Legend, an Internet Host, a Broadway Star, A certified kind angel, Incredible songwriter who will have literally just put out a brand new record the day before this show. We've all celebrated Tasha, and if you have not you very well better start. - Greg

She’s so good, this album is going to be phenomenal. The singles have been charming, bright, and kept my attention. - Caroline

Another with a dream of an album on the way. Tasha's show at Trans Pecos in 2021 was so special. Ever since, I've wanted to see her at Baby's. Excited to have it materialize. Feels like one for the books! - Alex

KINGSMEN & FRIENDS (11PM) <21+> Iconic legendary African Band that backs everyone from Tems to Wiz Kid in the US... fucking cool ass late show. - Greg

SUNDAY:

WESGHOST (7PM) <AA+> Pop Music breaking, classic popstar with a hidden face who is blowing up (smart)... Going to be one for the kids that will be sold out based off these insane numbers online... - Greg

Crazy, huge, close to sellout so get in there quick. - Caroline

Another that is sure to push sellout. I've enjoyed his shift of sound, SPINE reminds me of Provoker. - Alex
