Hellooooo welcome back! Did you eat, cook, laugh, drink, be merry? There’s still time. Nothing but time, actually. And I know a really good place to do all of that… - Caroline
TUESDAY:
2ND GRADE (6:30PM) <21+> This band is so good. It's amazing to me when a songwriter is so prolific and such a dedicated student of their craft. Peter is a power pop legend for me, hailing from Philly. Great show with Lily Konigsberg and Sunshine Convention. - Greg
I'm so glad that this one came to fruition. I've mentioned here before that the Power Pop genre is having a moment right now, and I think this band is one of the great's doing it. Personally, it's been a big Big Star year for me and if you're a fan of that music you should come to this show - I don't think you'll regret it. - Carson
True hit machines, some of the best in the power pop biz. Caught them opening for Ducks Ltd back in '22 and it ruled. - Alex
Joyful juiced up Philly indie pop. I really loved the record (so did SGum) and can’t wait to hear it live ! - Caroline
HADJI GAVIOTA (9:30PM) <18+> Hot boy Piñata Pop with a little R&B influence. Good songs, nice time, NYC local!! - Greg
Quite nice lo-fi bedroom pop! Reminds me of early Clairo (don't get me started on how much i love her). Should be a good'n. - Carson
David Dean Burkhart energies for real. Hadji is cool, new record on the way! - Alex
Bedroomy / sexy / sunshiney. - Caroline
WEDNESDAY:
BOUJEE (6:30PM) <21+> Michelle has become a friend over the years, but I think she's a friend of the venue since day 1. She still won't tell me what her old band was, and that's ok. She obviously knows what she's doing. Support from Socialite Valley Latini and K.I.N. - Greg
New local band alert ~ be one of the first to catch them live and say you knew them before anyone else :) - Carson
How new band, big lineup of all the coolest people you’ve seen at the bar round 2am. - Caroline
LAMBRINI GIRLS (9:30PM) <18+> They are releasing an album called "Who Let The Dogs Out" in January. This band rips, they seem cool!! - Greg
Ripsnorting punk from the UK. I've heard that they made good friends with the GIFT people while they were over there on tour last month. If you know what I know, that means this will be a big party..... I'm tired, hungover, and nauseous just thinking about it! - Carson
Great band, first three singles off the upcoming record rule. Company Culture is a hit. - Alex
Sick ass band, Desert Sharks opening the nite. One of those shows that feels like a little secret gift, since they’re about to bloooow up. - Caroline
THURSDAY:
CAMYLIO (6:30PM) <AA+> It's like soulful emo dark pop music... very dramatic, very stylized, very fucking interesting ! - Greg
This guy's stealin' my moves! - Carson
Dark and stormy pop, kinda reminds me of Aussie darlings MOVEMENT. Support from Jayla Kai!! - Alex
It is biiig sounding, it’s dark, and a lot of people seem to love it !! - Caroline
MARY IN THE JUNKYARD (9:30PM) <18+> I was really expecting this to be like Lambrini Girls based off the name but it is not in any way. What sweet cool unique music, very very interesting to me. FREE Thursday late night show so we have no excuse not to be there <3 - Greg
Really fuckin' wonderful beautiful music. The band is from London. The show is free. If you like youthful, nonlinear indie rock music (ie. BCNR, Friko, etc) then this one's for you <3 - Carson
Have you heard this yet? One of the best songs of 2024. So excited to see this one at Baby's. A debut for a band who'll be playing much, much bigger rooms soon enough. - Alex
lowkey haunting UK based indie rock, free show, very much into this - Caroline
FRIDAY:
A.C. NEWMAN (7PM) <18+> Quite literally the guy from The New Pornographers. I think it's rock and roll or something and I want to tell you. Canadians are always hitting it... must be all that grant money and support from the government and radio. Imagine that - Greg
Definitely a top 5 redheaded indie rocker of all time. Who else is up there? Jokes aside, this dude is indie rock royalty, and has been making top notch music since I was a preteen. The opener Dead Gowns is also a band that people should be tapping into. They're from Maine, they're up next, and they have a wonderful team behind them (hi Timm & Tom!). - Carson
A.C Newman, of the New Pornographers! Independently writing some brilliantly crafted indie rock. What's not to love? - Alex
Yes, the guy from TNPs, celebrating the anniversary of this spectacular record. - Caroline
TV GIRL & GEORGE CLANTON (11PM) <21+> DJ duo to the stars. Masters of the internet. The last time I saw TV Girl was in a basement venue in Zurich circa 2017 and we had a grand old time. George is one of those true freak legends. Kind of interesting to me that these two would be friends but then again not really at all? Probably will be a cool kid blowout - Greg
Oh boy do I love TV Girl. I saw them in a tiny bar in Winooski, VT, gosh, like 8 years ago? Got extremely drunk with my friend and his dad, wound up hanging out with the band for a bit I think, and I don't remember the rest. Still have their number in my phone though. This track definitely soundtracked that summer. Really a full circle moment for me. Good luck getting into this one! - Carson
Two super heavyweights battling it out for 146 Broadway Supremacy. Only one will come out on top. - Alex
Yes, THAT TV Girl and George Clanton. Epic get, team. This one is free and if I told you how many RSVPs we’ve gotten your eyes would bug our of your head. - Caroline
SATURDAY:
FREAK SLUG (7PM) <18+> We've got some very popular bedroom style pop but like actual pop, still very fucking interesting - getting a lot of people coming out the woodwork asking for guest list spots for this one, which is always a big tell. Sort of reminds me of like a British sounding (australian? could look it up but here I am post-thanksgiving in my cousin's house in New Jersey slowed by massive waves of food and martinis.) Sidney. Hiding Places is supporting and wow aren't they truly such an incredible live band (actual must see) and the sweetest people ever in the world? Who is working door at Union Pool if we get to have these sweeties playing at baby??? - Greg
This one's dope. It's definitely bedroom pop, but the production is really cool and feels like it pushes the songs past that genre-box. Very strong melodies. Like, Slow Pulp strong. I'm messin' with this a lot. I like the Freak Slug. - Carson
another hawwwwt new band alert. Once the new record dropped, this one flew. Tix out the door like that. Angel band Hiding Places on support! - Alex
Mumbly tumbly sweet indie pop. - Caroline
HEADLESS (11PM) <21+> I ran into Curtis at a birthday for maybe she was president of the united states or maybe she was an entrepreneur maybe I am an entrepreneur or a model or a dj or a... not even sure how I got there and I think that was the main question people may have had on their minds if they are like me. Sometimes we just walk into a world and just as easily we can slip right out. Anyway, Curtis was talking with me at the bar about his new original music project and how he was invigorated by the gorillaz first album (s/t 2001) and how writing music that was inspired by this sound had cured his writer's block. He's excited in a way that was really, really nice to see and hear. Brought some light to the night. Excited to see what comes from this now FREE late night show. - Greg
Ion Pack / The Life guy is throwing a party in the venue room. It's free. - Carson
Curtis' newest band hits the Baby! Always excited to see what he has in store for us. - Alex
New band alert, I can def hear the Gorillaz in this one - Caroline
CARSON'S BIRTHDAY PARTY - 9PM UP FRONT <3
I do have to mention that it is my birthday and I am inviting all of my friends to Baby's All Right for my party. It's my way of contributing to the local economy. Honestly though, if you're reading this I'd love to meet you on my birthday. We can talk shop, I can set you up on a date with one of friends, or you can donate $20 towards affording me a new end table. I really would appreciate that, but no pressure. I also found this record at Human Head that would make a great birthday gift. I would love to own it. So excited to meet you! - Carson

Fun lil showcase from Better Company Records! Divine Sweater, Claire Ozmun and more are playing. Vibes should be good imho. - Carson
