I am going to be so honest, I don’t think this week could get any more mega here at baby. Honestly it’s just heavy hitter after heavy hitter. Sometimes I think about setting up a cot in the management office, so that I can maximize efficiency. No days off. - Caroline

MONDAY:

ZINADELPHIA (6:30PM) <AA+> Wow that's just lovely, isn't it?? Something really gravitational here, sold out for her literal debut show!! Such nice music! - Greg

Zin's first baby sellout! I've been loving her music ever since Kathryn Callahan showed it to me yeeaaaaars ago. Always exciting to see a new artist selling out the room on their first headline. Going to be a packed house. - Alex

Gah! I've always been a sucker for vintage James Bond soundtrack-sounding music. Zinny's doing a real good job at channeling that vibe and gearing it to the masses. Dare I say she's the Nancy Sinatra of the 2020s?? This video especially.. - Carson

This music is humongous, I’m listening to this at my friend’s kitchen counter 2 coffees deep and feel her vocal wraps itself around me and holds me so tight and I just had to stand up and dance a little. Holy moly. - Caroline

MARROW x SPOTIFY (9:30PM) <21+> Blondeshell, Momma, DJ Sunflower Bean. Do I need to say a god-danged other thing? Party of the century in a way, especially for it being late night on a Monday? Tuesday is going to be a hard one, sorry everyone </3 - Greg

Speaking of packed, fair bit of oomph to this lineup. Momma and Blondshell, with Sunflower Bean DJ's before/between/after. Sold out in half a day. Spotify bringing heat here. - Alex

Sold out like that. The list won’t save you tonight. I remember when Kiss City came out, I had that “whoa, this is something special” moment. Here we are, 2 years later, Blondshell graces the cover of the MARROW playlist and a sold out Baby stage ! Momma is also, of course, a storied Baby’s fav. Who can forget the legendary You Missed It last year? Motorbike is such a damn hit. Sunflower Bean setting the mood all nite here. It’s jsut one fo the books I must say. - Caroline

LILYISTHATYOU (8PM) <AA+> One show evening for Lily, she does make me a little nervous for some reason? - Greg

Pop bangers, this feels like the best kinda workout music. Another sellout, it's what we do this week. - Alex

WEDNESDAY:

CHRIS COHEN (6:30PM) <21+> I don't think I've ever gotten so many requests from staff to work a particular event. This man is a legend and angel (seemingly) really fun and funny advancing process. Got 75DOLLAR BILL opening as well??? fuck this week is going to break me. - Greg

An all-time favorite of mine. Never got to catch him live while I was at Captured Tracks, but I spent most of 2019 listening to him on repeat. Brilliant, effortless songwriter. 75 Dollar Bill on support! If this isn't sold out by Wednesday, I'll eat my hat. - Alex

Really nice psych-folk here. Chris has been doing this very well for a long, long time and somehow I've still never seen him live. My losing streak will end on Wednesday! - Carson

Let me tell you, first time I heard this song I did cry. (I am realizing as I type this I think I have said this a lot on here about a few different artists. Doesn’t make it any less true, the music is affecting.) The horns are so deeply beautiful. One show eve, I think I’m gonna get a nice dinner and then pull up in the happiest mood ever. - Caroline

THURSDAY:

LIME GARDEN (6:30PM) <AA> From the most beautiful city in the UK, Brighton... god what a lovely little place. This "wonk pop" band seems really special and cool, plus they are booked by Carly Goldberg, and who doesn't want to work with that perfect person?? - Greg

Rescheduled banger from earlier this year. Existing in that punk / disco / indie world. Excellent band, with an excellent support. Torture & the Desert Spiders are becoming one of my favorite new bands. - Alex

This band is extremely Carly-coded. The So Young Records team has a real knack for finding these bands that remind me of everything I listened to in 2005... Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, YYY's, etc. This show will rock. - Carson

Oh yes oh yes it’s a Carly Goldberg banger. It’s so British. This hit is sexy and thumpy and I’m gonna boogie down to it. - Caroline

BUSH TETRAS (9:30PM) <18+> Such a fucking cool one for me, personally. My band in High School covered "Too Many Creeps" these legends are so so special to me and I cannot wait for this to happen on our little stage <3 - Greg

True legends of the scene, Bush Tetras have been doing it better than most for almost 30 years now. Loud, crunchy, and deeply NYC. A special one. - Alex

FRIDAY:

FOG LAKE (7PM) <18> Aaron has been hitting it so hard for a long time now. It's not easy to break out into the world when you're from such an isolated place (Newfoundland?? seems fake to me, but I know he swears it is real). My olde dead ass band did a tour with this band in 2015 or 2016 and I adored the hang so much. Truly going to be so very lovely <3 - Greg

Big return for Fog Lake. Down-tempo and melodic, sure to be a beautiful night at the baby. Support from Foxes In Fiction, who was the FIRST artist I ever saw perform at Baby's. - Alex

Very nostalgic show for me. I love Fog Lake and I put on their show in Vermont like 6 years ago and all of the bands stayed at my apartment after. I don't remember what we did after the show, but I do remember it being very sweet. Greg was also on that tour and that's how we met! Greg, do you want to reenact this and have a sleepover on Friday? - Carson

Oh it’s just deeply hauntingly beautiful music. Do you like to feel like it’s cold outside, but you’re safe in the arms of your beloved? This music will give you that feeling. - Caroline

Baby's Presents: Skirts at Alphaville - This is another nostalgic one for me harkening back to my time doing indie shows in unique spaces in Vermont. Extremely wonderful people and angelic music in this show. I'm going to try to double-dip this and Fog Lake somehow - wish me luck! - Carson

SATURDAY:

FIRE TALK 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY (7PM) <21+> As Trevor (whomst at some point in this world had my job) said to me in an email; any one of these acts can fill out Baby's on their own. It's true. I cannot believe I get to see Cola here again. I love to flirt with each one of those tall, impossibly handsome, intelligent, and talented men. Difficult to imagine being able to hold my cool. WOMBO GOOD as Billy once texted me, and Why Bonnie - house legends and heroes !! - Greg

Three of the best, joining forces to celebrate the ageless Fire Talk and their 15th birthday. Trevor & co have filled their roster with some of the most exciting bands for years. This lineup showcases some of our true favorites. - Alex

Fire Talk is like the DeAndre Jordan or Indie Labels. Every shot they take winds up being a slam fuckin' dunk. I love all of these bands and it's a treat to see 'em every time. I know all my friends will be at this one. We just gotta boot Jon-Carlo outta town sooner than later so I can get some more shifts at the Fire Talk Shop pls! - Carson

Dare I say a perfect bill? Fire Talk has put out some of the most treasured records of the last 5 years, including those from these bands. I can’t wait to celebrate their sweet 15. - Caroline
