It’s common knowledge that we here at Baby’s All Right do it for love. What else is this all about? Love of 𝓛𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓜𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓬, love for one another, love for New York, love for independent arts + culture, love for you, our little community….
We certainly wouldn’t stifle any opportunity to express love at our little club (within reason, don’t get freaky), so we put together a little list of upcoming shows for sweeties and lovers and situationships and sexy people and platonic friends and dear beloveds. Hope to see you there <3 - Caroline
While we’re on the topic, I asked some friends to send me a love song. Here’s what we made. Enjoy <3333
DANIEL LANOIS: (2/23 Tickets)
Daniel Lanois makes music for the thinking man. The lonesome cowboys. The fellas that have found love, lost it, and grappled with their loss for weeks and months and years. And maybe they never stop thinking about it... It's wistful music. Music of the highest form. "Musician's Music" as many call it. He has 7 Grammys, and he calls Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and Bono his friends. But it's about the music, man. Tap into The Resonant Frequency of Love, think about all of the love you lost, the mistakes you've made, and put your thousand yard stare to good use. - Carson
what gets you feeling more feelings than a band that leans heavily on brass and bass? Movers and groovers kinda night, feels like a haze filled party. - Alex
REMEMBER SPORTS: (4/17 Tickets)
Remember Sports? Remember LOVE?! Might seem sad music to you, but to me, this is nostalgia for first dates when I was fumbling through life as a spotty 18 year old - Alex
TUCKER ZIMMERMAN: (3/27 Tickets)
It's a whispery legend, backed by Big Thief and Twain. Of course this is romantic. - Alex
Just listen. Tell me this doesn't feel like a post-date soundtrack. Swoooons - Alex
BREAKING BREAD: (4/6 Tickets)
Ahh, Breaking Bread—an event curated by our friends at Sundae Sauuce. A time to disconnect from our phones and immerse ourselves in music, community, and good vibes. Since showing love to your shawty or significant other is always a must, this is the perfect event to bring that special someone and truly be present. With surprise special guests delivering incredible music, you never know what to expect—except that it’s always good. - Manuel
Greta once sang "I believe in love" and that has been circling around my head for months now. I believe in love, I believe in light. I just got my annual Valentine's Day card from her and it made me feel cared for in a way that she has always been able to do. This project, Lexie, was born out of her and Alex sending each other songs they were writing and they started working on them remotely with each other as their love blossomed. What a special experience, and we're all so lucky to have Record Time! as a capsule on how exciting, invigorating, healing, and productive falling in love with someone can really be. - Greg
