ISABELLA LOVESTORY: We've wanted to book Isabella Lovestory for a long ass time. Getting her on-board for a late night NYE set is cooler than anything I could have dreamed up. Isabella's album release show at Bella Ciao last October was one of the littest shows I've seen in my time in NYC. In my original blog post recapping the event, I declared the show, "One of the only times I've enjoyed the Bella Ciao Basement." - Joe of
SUZY CLUE: My big hope for 2024 is that more bands will sound like Suzy Clue. A scandalous picture of Suzy and I ended up as a header image in the NY Mag 'Reasons to Love New York' issue. Can't believe that a photo of me exists like this at all, nevermind getting it printed in New York Magazine. Can't tell if it's an achievement or a permanent stain on my employability. Either way, let's celebrate. More surprises to come in 2024, I'm sure. Suzy will be onstage at midnight. The NYE countdown couldn't be in better hands. - Joe
MERCURY: I'll never be as cool as Mercury. Been hooked on this video Rich made for her for a year. Jack & I haven't seen her live yet but we've been tryna for a whiiile. Cannot fuckin wait. And I heard Kill Lauren is on the decks ... lfggg - Joe
JESSX: Local legend back in town for one night only. Jess is living back home in Hawaii, and it meant sooo much to us to get them to NYC for this show. JessX brings the party wherever they play. Can't tell you how much I believe in this artist. If the A&Rs really rock with the culture like that ,,, they'll be in the live room watching JessX at 9:30 tonight. See you there <3
