The other side of Memorial Day means it’s officially summer. It’s been feeling that way at Baby’s, Friday’s Perfectly Imperfect night was kind of the harbinger of a warm and bright summer, I felt. 1-800 GIRLS is bringing the underground UK club scene to Baby’s this Friday. I’m in love with this mixed media music video for their song there 4 u. Their music extracts this sense of euphoria from nostalgia and brings an ever-evolving spirit to the dancefloor. - Baby Intern Ava

This baby dance is a garden of earthly delights for us, planted and harvested by Zach (aka everlovin). Hooky just released this little garage beats tape, and a birdy told me there’s a full record coming soon. Every single ideas live show (of which there are roughly 3/week) makes me just gleeful, their music is pretty much defining the whole indietronica glitch movement cutesy dance thing going on in NYC. Chris Emond played his first baby live show ever on Friday and held a rapt audience. idk you guys this is. a really fun night I just know it. - Caroline
