It's a feeling <3
Saw so much good music this past weekend, starting w a good old fashioned dance here at the baby on Friday, with Alex Ella Teresa Lily Eli Manny + Miles after a big Italian meal. Then I was at Total Bummer at Knockdown and saw J Mascis hit the whammy bar with abandon. Also bloodsports are the best new band out of new york right now. So much good stuff coming up this week, including a few Gov Ball afters. Lowkey I think I’m getting outta dodge for the weekend though. Hold it down for me, would you? - Caroline

WEDNESDAY:
EARLY: JOHNNY ORLANDO (6:30PM) <AA>

LATE: TIG3R LEWIS (9:30PM) <18+>
Groovy soul-pop that feels vintage, new and timeless all at once. Limited tix left. Don’t be a glerk, cop one before you miss it. - Eli

FRIDAY:
FRONT ROOM: ANNONXL LISTENING PARTY / CD SIGNING (7:00PM) <21+>

Philly’s own and now LA based singer-songwriter annonXL joins us this Friday in the Front Room at Baby’s for an intimate CD signing and full listening party for their incredible new album “princess of chaos” played front to back. A hypnotic, emotional, and beautifully chaotic project, “princess of chaos” pulls you into annonXL’s world through distorted textures, raw vulnerability, and unforgettable songwriting. Come celebrate a truly special release with us and hopefully soon, a live performance too! - Manny
LATE: OLD MERVS (10:00PM) <21+>
Oh yea it’s gov ball after dark baby, starting w Aussie duo Old Mervs, who rip Flushing Meadows and then scoot on over to Williamsburg for your listening and viewing pleasure, surf rock from the gold coast. - Caroline
All the way from Australia, Old Mervs has sunshine rock n roll written all over and into it, probably because a morning surf is built into their songwriting/recording routine according to an interview with The Note. Genre-bending electronic producer Druzin will be starting this night off, guaranteeing an evening of music that just feels good. - Baby Intern Ava
SATURDAY:
