July 15th - July 20th
Spectacular week forthcoming. Something for everybody. Alex is a little sick so someone has to come hang out with me. - Caroline
TUESDAY:
EARLY: GARBAGE DAY (6:30PM) <21+>
Week one was huge, Emile was shouting them out from the baby's roof. Expect to laugh, expect a sellout. - Alex
Honestly excellent programming from a SMART and funny crew. Round 2 of 3. - Caroline
LATE: RAY VAUGHN (9:30PM) <18+>
Back on the MFM groove. This is undeniable. - Alex
Big production and heavily unpredictable. Some of you may relate to this - Caroline
WEDNESDAY:
EARLY: NORY (6:30PM) <21+>
Loud, dirtttttty, darn good alt-pop music. Performing the forthcoming album in full, listener’s delight - Caroline
LATE: SMUSHIE (9:30PM) <18+>
New album barely a week old, and it's a rollicking good time. - Alex
Totally sweet and lovely folk-americana. New record is endearing and has HORNS which is a great way to loop me in automatically. - Caroline
THURSDAY:
EARLY: SAMANTHA CRAIN (6:30PM) <18+>
Choctaw songwriter with over 15 years of touring in the bank, Samantha is writing some of the most assured folk music you'll come across. New record is excellent. - Alex
Highly anticipating this one for the last few months, majorly acclaimed Choctaw musician showing off her new record Gumshoe. Textured, well-defined folk music for your heart and soul. Going to sell out before the sun sets, probably. - Caroline
LATE: ESTRELLA GALICIA: WICCA PHASE SPRINGS ETERNAL AND THE MYSTERY MOUNTAIN BAND (9:30PM) <21+>
Wicca Phacelift, change of direction. The new record leans indie-folk, and features Ethel Cain. We're stoked to have him debuting the material with us on Thursday. - Alex
Wicca Phacelift made me laugh. But really, Adam’s back and Wicca has changed a bit. This new iteration is less emo-slacker, more bright-folk. Be the first to hear the new flavor. Ethel might come? IDK. - Caroline
FRIDAY:
EARLY: FRIENDSHIP (7:00PM) <21+>
Friendship became a staple in my family. When I went back to Australia to renew my visa in 2022, it had clearly taken a stranglehold, every time Dad would start cooking, Love The Stranger would be playing. Dan's an excellent songwriter, and it's a pleasure to be hosting their sold out album launch for Caveman Wakes Up. - Alex
One of those lineups that we will look back on in years time and think, my god, I can’t believe that happened at our house. 22* Halo and 2nd Grade warm it up for Friendship, who released one of my AOTYs. I’m going camping this weekend though, so I’m missing this. Does anyone wanna take me to their Pittsburgh show tonight? We could leave right now. - Caroline
LATE: PERFECTLY IMPERFECT PARTY (FRONT ROOM) (11:00PM) <21+>
Free front bar After party for Kyle Mooney’s sold out MHOW show feat. DJ sets from Kyle, Carmen Christopher, Angel Prost (of Frost Children), and Instagram funnymakers Kyle Chase and Veronika. Big beautiful baby’s banger. - Caroline
SATURDAY:
EARLY: K3 & FRIENDS (6:30PM) <AA+>
Coming home like a freight train, after a power outage grounded us on Monday. Expect a sellout come Saturday, get in quick. - Alex
Ok, all good things take time, including this one, which had to shift due to an act of god. Fear not, this one is gonna tear the house down in it’s own right. - Caroline
LATE: QUEMARLO TODO POR ERROR (11:00PM) <21+>
Dreamy, woozy, and here to melt your heart. What a dreamy weekend late show - Alex
Colombian math rockers putting on a grand old late night saturday night show for us. Kind of obsessed with them, actually. - Caroline
SUNDAY:
EARLY: BAD MOVES (6:30PM) <AA>
It's always sad to say farewell, but we're so thrilled that Bad Moves chose Baby's as the place to do it. Sure to be a truly special night. - Alex
All things must come to pass, including this sweet power pop outfit. Send them off with a beautiful farewell, baby style. Moments from selling out ! - Caroline
